Aluminum sulfate is used in paper making, and another use is as flocculant in drinking water, industrial water and industrial wastewater treatment. So what are the things to pay attention to when using aluminum sulfate:

3. In case of skin contact, remove contaminated clothing and rinse the contacted skin with running water. In case of eye contact, flush with running water or saline and seek medical attention. In case of inadvertent inhalation, get out of the scene and go to a fresh air place, and if you have difficulty in breathing, give oxygen to the doctor immediately. In case of inadvertent ingestion, drink a sufficient amount of warm water to induce vomiting and seek medical attention.
4, aluminum sulfate does not have special combustion and explosion characteristics, but when subjected to high heat decomposition produces toxic sulfide fumes.
5, inadvertently start a fire, firefighters should wear full body fireproof and anti-virus clothing, in the upwind direction to extinguish the fire, as far as possible to extinguish the fire container from the fire to move to an open place.
Storage precautions: Aluminum sulfate should be stored in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat source. It should be stored separately from oxidizers, and should never be mixed. The storage area should be equipped with suitable materials to shelter the leakage.
